About Our Community
Elmwood Park is a small North Edmonton community, bounded by the Yellowhead Corridor to the north, 82nd Street to the west, Fort Road to the east, and 122nd Avenue to the south.
The bulk of the original residences in the neighbourhood were constructed during a period from the late 1940s to the 1970s. The homes were designed to accommodate returning World War II veterans, many of whom were given to planting elm trees along the boulevards.
The Elmwood Park Community League was created in April of 1954. The community league lands host a small hall, a large enclosed fence space and community garden, a playground, and a spray park. The league is run by a small board of dedicated volunteers.
Watch for events throughout the year like community BBQ's, Easter Egg Hunts, Halloween Haunted houses, karaoke pub nights and more!
Our Casino Fundraiser will be happening August 11 & 12. Sign up for a shift here:https://timecounts.org/elmwood-park-cl/opportunities
